Animal Imaging is owned by a group of 50 North Texas small animal and equine practitioners who saw the need for advanced imaging in a central location. We strive to be an imaging extension of your practice. Along with our state-of-the-art advanced imaging equipment, we offer teleradiology services that go above and beyond others. Should you have any questions or concerns regarding your case, our board certified radiologists are only a phone call away.
Easy Case Submissions and Timely Reporting
Animal Imaging utilizes the simple to use DVM Insight platform for image transfer and reporting. Images can easily be uploaded to your DVM Insight account where you can then request a report from our radiologists and provide them with a brief history and signalment for your case. Once complete, the report will be faxed or emailed (your preference) to you. Accessing previous case submissions is easy. Once your practice is set up with DVM Insight, you can easily access images previously submitted to our team of radiologists as well as the reports generated from those case submissions by just logging into your DVM Insight account. Set up with DVM Insight is simple, quick and best of all…is at no cost to you. Simply call one of our Animal Imaging team members to find out more.
Regular telemedicine hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm. Reports are generated in 24 hours or less on all submissions during regular telemedicine hours. Cases submitted outside of our regular telemedicine hours will be read the next business day. Because you may have an emergency beyond our regular telemedicine hours, STAT cases submitted outside of regular telemedicine hours will be sent to the DVM Insight group of radiologists and will incur a higher fee. Please call our office to inquire about after hour STAT submission fees. To allow our radiologists time with their families, cases submitted on the following holidays will not be read until the following business day – New Years Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
